Mosley keeps praise high for all four schools before decision
The 4-star wideout hasn’t said a negative word about any program in final four as his commitment approaches fast.
Four-star wide receiver Alvin Mosley wrapped up an official visit to Fayetteville over the weekend and came away with strong feelings about what Ryan Silverfield is building.
But he hasn’t had a critical word to say about Ole Miss, Texas or Houston either.
That makes his June 27 commitment date a lot more difficult to forecast.
Mosley made a point to take official visits to all four programs before going public with his pick, and every stop has seemingly gone well. Nothing he’s said publicly suggests anyone has fallen out of the running.
“This weekend was definitely a great official visit at Arkansas,” Mosley told Jacob Davis of Arkansas Razorbacks on SI. “I was able to see a lot of good things from a culture standpoint. The coaches [were great] and heard plenty of good things about them from the current group of [Arkansas] receivers that are already here. All around, this was definitely a good experience.”
The facilities and fan passion also registered.
“The Arkansas facilities are top tier,” Mosley said. “Razorback Stadium is nice for sure and I felt the woo pig sooie pride. Arkansas fans want to see this program back on top.”
That’s an endorsement of the Silverfield era. It just doesn’t come at anyone else’s expense.
What Mosley brings
The production speaks for itself. According to 247Sports, he’s the No. 120 overall prospect in the 2027 class and the No. 16 wideout nationally.
Last season he caught 67 passes for 1,138 yards and 20 touchdowns while adding seven rushing scores and three more on special teams for 30 total touchdowns from a player that was still a couple of years from signing.
The Hogs already hold commitments from 4-star wideouts Jabari Watkins and Darion Moseley, giving the staff a credible pitch on receiver usage.
Their 2027 class sits at 20 commitments, ranked No. 11 in the SEC and No. 32 nationally per 247Sports.
Mosley decides Friday. Nobody — including Mosley, apparently — is giving anything away before then.
