About
Welcome to allHOGS.com, an independent Arkansas sports website founded by longtime sports media writer and broadcaster Andy Hodges as HogCountry.com in 2008 and re-named allHOGS.com in 2021.
We are not affiliated to the University of Arkansas in any way, official or unofficial. In other words, we are not a voice giving you just the official word from the UA or anybody else. We have been doing this since 1971 at various newspapers across Arkansas, in Texas and Mississippi.
For three years (2021-24) content from allHOGS.com was licensed to FanNation, which was a subsidiary licensing content to Sports Illustrated. When the Sports Illustrated name and licensing changed the corporate ownership changed and allHOGS.com became an independent publication.
In today’s crowded sports news world, there’s plenty of news articles, YouTube videos, Podcast interviews, and every other imaginable type of content every single day. Big media companies crank out massive amounts of content and many couldn’t find Fayetteville, Ark., on a map.
We give you more analysis with a direct approach and an educated opinion from highly-placed sources within the Razorback donor groups, former players and others that are officially connected. It gives us an objective view of Razorback athletics and a view of history we have seen most of for over 65 years with our own eyes.
We write with our opinion on nearly every story and give you a straight viewpoint and we’re not always going to be positive. If things are negative with the Hogs, as a fan who ultimately pays a big chunk of the bills one way or the other down to buying a shirt or hat in a retail store.
It’s not always positive, but it is our views and opinions. You may not always agree, but we’re not wrong. We know our opinion, you just may not share that opinion.
— allHOGS.com founder Andy Hodges
