How to Watch Arkansas vs. Nebraska in the Women’s College World Series
Arkansas makes its WCWS debut Thursday night against Nebraska. Here’s how to watch, plus pitching, weather and odds.
OKLAHOMA CITY – Thursday night will be a historic night for Arkansas.

Later in the day and on Thursday is when the work begins.
“The nice thing today is that you get to go through all these festivities, and we have practice on the back end of today. So we get to go through it, we get to focus on practice, we get to turn the page and get ready to compete tomorrow,” Arkansas coach Courtney Deifel said at Wednesday afternoon press conference. “We did some video today. We still have practice tonight. We’ll get up tomorrow and go through our game day routine. It’s a pretty easy balance with this group.”
It will be a long game day routine, though.
Arkansas is set to face Nebraska in the first round WCWS game Thursday night with an 8:30 p.m. first-pitch time. And that’s if the previous three games aren’t longer than expected. However, the Razorbacks don’t think the late start time will be an issue.
“I think tomorrow is just going to be not like the nerves are sitting with us, but just that we’re wanting to play so soon. We’re just so excited to be here,” Arkansas pitcher Robyn Herron said Wednesday. “I’ve played an 8 p.m. game before, so it’ll be kind of a similar schedule, just doing our normal pregame routine. But it’s just wanting to be out there and having to wait that long. Sure, we want to play early, but we’re just excited to play.”
It’ll be a long wait for Arkansas, but the prize at the end is well worth the wait.
Here’s everything else to know about Thursday’s game against Nebraska.
The Opponent: Nebraska
The Huskers are 51‑6 and haven’t taken a loss in two months, a stretch that includes sweeping their final five Big Ten series, cruising through the conference tournament and rolling through regionals and supers.
Everything starts with Jordy Frahm. The former Oklahoma star has been every bit the game‑changer Nebraska hoped for when she transferred home. She’s 20‑4 with a 1.14 ERA and 234 strikeouts, and she’s also their most dangerous hitter with 19 home runs and a 1.338 OPS.
Frahm and Alexis Jensen have combined for 53 strikeouts in 33 postseason innings, and Nebraska backs them with what might be the best defense in the field.
The lineup around Frahm is built on experience and smart portal work. Center fielder Hannah Coor, another former Sooner, and catcher Jesse Farrell from UNLV have blended with a veteran core to give Nebraska one of the most complete rosters in the Big Ten.
