Arkansas basketball now knows exactly who it’s playing this winter.
The Razorbacks’ full 2026-27 schedule became official Thursday afternoon.
The finishing touch was a home date with Mississippi Valley State on Nov. 20. That booking rounded out a non-conference slate loaded with 13 games.
John Calipari’s team opens practice next Monday. The Hogs get right to work before their first tip-off next month.
Arkansas starts the year with two exhibition tests inside Bud Walton Arena. Gonzaga visits Oct. 24 and Memphis follows four days later.
The regular season begins Nov. 2 against Arkansas-Pine Bluff. It’s the first-ever meeting between the two in-state programs.
Robert Morris comes to Fayetteville on Nov. 10. Central Arkansas follows three days later for a third straight season against the Bears.
Fayetteville has been kind to Arkansas in this series. A 93-56 win over UCA last season came a year after the Hogs topped the Bears 82-56 in North Little Rock.
Marquee games away from home
The Hogs will play five notable non-conference games away from Bud Walton Arena. Each lands at a neutral site or on the road.
First up is a trip to Washington D.C. Arkansas faces Virginia inside Capital One Arena on Nov. 8 as part of the Capital One Showcase.
Nine days later the Razorbacks head to New York City. Indiana awaits at Madison Square Garden in a matchup billed as the Bad Boy Mower Series.
Calipari has been to the Garden with this program once before, picking up a win over Michigan there in 2024. This trip will be his second.
Thanksgiving Day sends Arkansas to Detroit. Michigan State meets the Razorbacks at Little Caesars Arena in the CBS Thanksgiving Classic.
The two programs played last season in East Lansing. A home game at Bud Walton got pushed back to the 2027-28 season instead.
That neutral-site run wraps up with the SEC/ACC Challenge, an event the Razorbacks have never lost. The Hogs travel to Chapel Hill on Dec. 1 to face North Carolina and first-year coach Michael Malone.
Rematches and a full non-conference slate
Mississippi Valley State’s visit brings back a familiar blowout memory. Arkansas beat the Delta Devils 142-62 during the Eric Musselman era, the last time the two teams met.
Three Razorbacks reached double figures in that game. Moody scored 16, Sills followed with 19 and Vanover topped the group with 23.
Last season alone, Mississippi Valley State finished 3-30, following a 3-28 mark the year before. Texas Southern, Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Mississippi University for Women were the only three teams the Delta Devils managed to beat in that span.
December brings a busy home stretch for the Razorbacks. Oral Roberts visits Simmons Bank Arena in North Little Rock on Dec. 5.
Oakland and UT Arlington follow at Bud Walton Arena on Dec. 8 and Dec. 13. Arizona then meets Arkansas at a neutral site in Phoenix on Dec. 19 as part of the Hall of Fame Series.
A four-year scheduling agreement links the two programs beyond this season. Arizona heads to Bud Walton Arena next year, then hosts Arkansas in Tucson, with one more neutral-site meeting still to come after that.
Non-conference play wraps with back-to-back home dates, Central Michigan on Dec. 22 followed by Texas-Rio Grande Valley on Dec. 29.
SEC games round out schedule
Conference play opens at home against Missouri on Jan. 2. A midweek road trip to South Carolina follows.
Alabama visits Fayetteville on Jan. 9 before a two-game road stretch at Texas A&M and Tennessee. Georgia comes to Bud Walton Arena on Jan. 19 or 20.
Arkansas then travels to Texas on Jan. 23. Home games against LSU and Mississippi State follow back-to-back.
A bye week arrives in early February. The Razorbacks then travel to Vanderbilt before hosting Ole Miss.
A return trip to Alabama comes on Feb. 13. Auburn visits midweek before Arkansas hits the road again at Kentucky and Missouri.
Florida comes to Fayetteville before a final road trip to LSU. Arkansas closes the regular season at home against Oklahoma on March 6.
The SEC Tournament in Nashville runs from March 10 through 14.
