Razorbacks basketball SEC dates set for 2026-27 season
Every Arkansas basketball SEC game now has a confirmed date, with a home-heavy stretch closing out the season.
Basketball season feels closer now that the SEC has put real dates on Arkansas’ conference schedule.
The league office confirmed the full slate on Monday and the Hogs already knew their opponents from earlier this summer.
Now every game has a spot on the calendar.
Arkansas will tip off league play at Bud Walton Arena against Missouri on Jan. 2.
That’s the same setup as a year ago when the Razorbacks also opened conference action on their own floor.
A short turnaround sends the team to South Carolina for a midweek game before the Hogs come back to Fayetteville to host Alabama on Jan. 9.
Those midweek games will fall on a Tuesday or a Wednesday though the exact day is still pending.
Road games at Texas A&M and Tennessee follow in back-to-back fashion, giving Arkansas its first true away stretch of the year.
The Razorbacks won’t have much time to rest between those two trips.
January wraps up with the Hogs playing three of four games in Fayetteville.
Georgia comes to town in the Jan. 19-20 window and a single road game at Texas breaks up an otherwise home-heavy close to the month before LSU and Mississippi State both visit on back-to-back dates.
A busy February stretches the roster on the road
February opens with a scheduled bye during the midweek slot, giving players a breather before travel picks back up.
Arkansas then makes the trip to Vanderbilt for a road game.
Ole Miss heads to Bud Walton Arena next and the Razorbacks turn right back around for a rematch at Alabama on Feb. 13.
Another midweek home date follows against Auburn before Arkansas closes the month with consecutive road trips to Kentucky and Missouri.
By the time the calendar flips to March the Hogs will have played some of their toughest travel of the entire season.
That stretch sets up a stretch run that mixes one final home weekend with two more trips away from Fayetteville.
March closes at home ahead of the tournament
Florida comes to Arkansas on Feb. 27 for what amounts to a home finale before the road-heavy final week.
The Razorbacks then travel to Baton Rouge to face LSU on March 2 or 3 before Oklahoma closes out the regular season in Bud Walton Arena on March 6.
From there Arkansas shifts its focus toward Nashville, where the Razorbacks will try to defend their SEC Tournament title at Bridgestone Arena from March 10-14.
Before conference play even starts the Hogs have summer basketball on tap.
Arkansas is scheduled to play a set of exhibition games through the Baha Mar Hoops Summer League in the Bahamas, with those contests airing on FloSports.
Non-league opponents fill out the fall calendar
Outside of SEC play Arkansas already has several marquee dates locked into place.
An exhibition against Gonzaga comes first, followed by a matchup with Indiana at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 17.
Thanksgiving week sends the Razorbacks to Detroit for a game against Michigan State, and the team also has a trip to North Carolina set for Dec. 1 as part of the SEC-ACC Challenge.
Games against Arizona and Central Michigan round out the slate before league play begins.
Kickoff times and TV assignments for SEC games remain unannounced and will come out closer to the season.
Until then Arkansas fans at least have a full map of where and when the Hogs will play.
