A busy week on the recruiting trail got even busier for Arkansas on Saturday.

Judah Gumbs, a three-star offensive tackle from Seffner, Fla., announced his commitment to the Hogs, pushing Ryan Silverfield’s 2027 class to 20 pledges overall.

The 6-foot-6, 290-pound Armwood High School product chose Arkansas over finalists Syracuse, Mississippi State and Tulane.

He also held offers from Houston, Kansas, Wake Forest, Memphis, South Florida and Liberty, among others.

247Sports rates Gumbs as an 86 three-star, the 90th-best offensive tackle in the country and the 119th-best overall prospect in Florida for the 2027 cycle.

O-line group continues to grow

Gumbs gives the Razorbacks six offensive linemen in the class, joining four-star tackle Alijah Shaw, tackles Teagan Parizek and Bradley Sturdivant and interior linemen Odaefe Oruru and Henry Frazier.

Arkansas offensive line coach Jeff Myers led the push for Gumbs, extending an offer on May 22.

Gumbs made an official visit to Fayetteville the weekend of June 5 and also took official visits to Syracuse on May 29, Mississippi State on June 12 and Tulane on June 18 before committing around noon central time Saturday.

He’s the fourth Razorback commitment of the week, joining Shaw, three-star cornerback Kevin Grant of Arlington, Texas and three-star defensive back John Catlin IV of Denton, Texas.

What the 2027 class looks like now

Arkansas carries commitments at every level of the roster.

The offensive group includes quarterback Cason Myers, running back Jeremiah Dent, wide receivers Jabari Watkins and Darion Moseley and tight end Parker Keenan.

On defense, the Hogs have edge rusher Keith Richmond, linebacker Will Caston, defensive linemen Eli Thornton and James Stewart and safety Jameer Cantrell rounding out the unit alongside Grant and Catlin.

Kicker Rocco DePrima and punter Declan Hamm give Arkansas its specialists, completing a class that’s shaping up nicely for Silverfield and his staff.

Now all they have to do is figure out a way to hang on to most of them.
